Museum hours

Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
First Friday of the month: 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.

Kindly note that the museum will be closed on these holidays:

  • New Year’s Day (January 1, 2011)
  • Martin Luther King Day (January 17, 2011)
  • Memorial Day (May 30, 2011)
  • Independence Day (July 4, 2011)
  • Labor Day (September 6, 2010)
  • Thanksgiving and the day after (November 25–26, 2010)
  • Christmas Eve (December 24, 2010)

Admission

Admission to the museum at CHF is free.

Viewing exhibits

The permanent exhibit, Making Modernity, and the changing exhibits in the Hach Gallery, DuPont Gallery, and Fisher Gallery can be viewed at any time during museum hours.

First Fridays at CHF

CHF participates in First Fridays, an open house occurring the first Friday of the month throughout Philadelphia’s Old City Arts District. In addition to extending our hours until 8:00 p.m., the Museum at CHF hosts fascinating special guest speakers and hands-on activities.
